Delsea Regional High School
District has been selected as a New Jersey choice school district for the
2017-2018 school year. The School Choice Program covers grade
7-12. Although we do have spaces available per grade, only 14 seats have
been granted by the NJ Department of Education.
Visit the New Jersey Department of Education webpage via the link below for more information.
The state of New Jersey has informed us that due to budget
limitations the School Choice Program is being severely limited for the
upcoming year. Based upon the state allotted numbers for each Choice School,
Delsea Regional School District is only able to accept five 7th grade
students and nine 9th grade
students for the 2017-2018 school year.
If you are interested in attending Delsea as a Choice Student at ANY grade
level, you should still submit an application. We will keep all applications
and create a “waiting list” in the event that we are permitted to add seats.
We regret this very unfortunate decision on the state’s part. If you would like to formally register a complaint with the State Choice Office the e-mail
address is firstname.lastname@example.org or you may contact the Department of Education at 877-900-6960 or your legislator for further action.
If needed, the open
public lottery will be held on
December 15, 2016 at 7:30 pm in the
Middle School Media Center.
