Here are some tips for Delsea parents:

The first couple weeks of school you should EXPECT bus delays or early arrivals as the drivers familiarize themselves with their routes and students. Be patient.
Expect delays at dismissal time the first week or two, as students learn where their bus is located.
Be ready and waiting at your bus stop 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. This does not mean you should be on your way to the bus stop, but actually already there! Be patient.
Be visible to the bus driver. While the drivers do practice their runs during the summer without any students present, it is completely different when they are looking for students to pick up. Be patient.
Bus drivers are people too! They are doing the best they can to make sure that your children get to school safely; they have one of the hardest and most important jobs in the district! Be patient.
The Transportation Office will be open 6:00 am to 4:30 to answer calls and solve problems. But remember, even with a full staff the lines may be busy. Be patient.
